Cheers Dan. I’ve never heard of it but I will definitely watch it. I see it’s a National Geographic production so it’s inevitable that it’s going to be a bit conservative but a step in the right direction. I see it’s on YouTube here:

Hey dude, in consequence of all this, I recomend you see Consequencias from Alvaro Vargas Llosa. Although a little right winged if you manage to bypass the usual criticism to the Latin American Left movements it is very good.

The Revolution Will Not Be Televised is an absolutely brilliant documentary. Such a combination of luck and good film making! Weird that it seems never to have been generally available on DVD… you’d think that 20th Century Fox or Sony would leap at the chance to tell the truth about an anti-capitalist national leader who’s loved by most of his electorate, wouldn’t you?
