There’s been a lot of fuss in the UK recently about a broken wind turbine in Surrey. The Sun newspaper have conducted an inquiry and interviewed an old lady who says that it was an alien spacecraft that smashed into the turbine. However, this is highly unlikely. What actually happened is that the turbine broke of it’s own accord – wind turbines apparently do not work very well in stormy or snowy weather:
